PostSubject: 3 mad days in the Mach loop - 7 to 9 September 2009 3 mad days in the Mach loop - 7 to 9 September 2009 Empty2009-09-12, 03:59

I spent 3 days this week in the Mach Loop at both Cad West and The Bwlch. I experienced both the highs and lows(!) that come with the joys of lowfly but overall had a fantastic time.

My time was spent with two mates from Lincoln (Neil Houltby and Trev Hines) who have spent the whole week there and have been gripping me off on the text the last couple of days with what I have missed.

Anyway, here is what I saw. I hope the following report and pics are not too heavy going and are of interest. (Please feel free to scroll straight to the pics..........!)

Weather: Hill fog and low cloud lifted around 10.00 leaving a dry day with variable cloud during the morning with increased sunny spells in the afternoon, although the sun became increasingly hazy later on. Visibility poor at first becoming good and then very good from lunchtime. Wind WSW light to moderate.

Out of all the Eagles from Lakenheath I only require 132 and 133, though as much as I admire your pictures I hate you too 3 mad days in the Mach loop - 7 to 9 September 2009 711487
