Hi all. I was just wandering if anyone knows why there was a Spitfire & Typhoon formation last Wednesday at around 12.50 local. I was just leaving for work when they did the first pass, so i was a little annoyed. I saw 3 passes before i got too far away to see, but i think they split up after the 3rd pass and the Typhoon returned for its solo display. Anyone have any further info on this because there hasn't been a Spitfire & Typhoon display this year. I saw it at several airshows last year, but this is the first time this year.

They were practicing for a flypast over Westminster, later this month.
