869 is at marhsalls, about to come back of its major. weve been servicing its Role equipment.

Im sure if i asked ops they could provide me with a list. BUT..... i dunno if they would.

Thanks liam you could always try! You know what theyre like though they probally dont know where they all are. Just after which ones are active, stored or written off/scrapped.

The following were noted active at Lyneham last Thursday the 10th,

XV221, ZH880, 883, 886, 888

Also doing multiple approaches was BAE125 ZD704.

A lot of those Rick, are 'elsewhere'. Certainly a lot of the Ks are away, we only ever one of the C3As or C1s at Lyneham at a time now.

XV188, XV177, XV209, XV214, XV303 and XV304 are all C3As and are theatre standard aircraft, so they will be virtually always away.
XV217 is active
XV307 is at Marshalls and I believe stored
ZH865 is active and was flying at the Families Day with mission equipment.

The C130 at Boscombe- i can say that i havent seen it fly in the last 6 mounths. I live near boscombe and i havent seen it on the SBS for at least 6 mounths( thats accurate). So i dont belive its active. Perhaps just being stored intill Use.

Well it was booked in for Lyneham last week and i see it on the SBS list regularly, therfore it must fly Local C-130's... 966718

The only thing is im sure they have more than one down there and not even sure if thats the right frame - they seem to change them regularly. Well thats the C1's and C5's done just the longer ones now...

Just to add, have been told XV305 is in the Falklands, hopefully that's not old information...
