I spent 3 days this week in the Mach Loop at both Cad West and The Bwlch. I experienced both the highs and lows(!) that come with the joys of lowfly but overall had a fantastic time.
My time was spent with two mates from Lincoln (Neil Houltby and Trev Hines) who have spent the whole week there and have been gripping me off on the text the last couple of days with what I have missed.
Anyway, here is what I saw. I hope the following report and pics are not too heavy going and are of interest. (Please feel free to scroll straight to the pics..........!)
Monday 7th September - Cad West - 0900 to 1800
Weather: Hill fog and low cloud lifted around 10.00 leaving a dry day with variable cloud during the morning with increased sunny spells in the afternoon, although the sun became increasingly hazy later on. Visibility poor at first becoming good and then very good from lunchtime. Wind WSW light to moderate.

Tuesday 8th September - Cad West - 0900 to 1400
Weather: Cloudy and dull with drizzle from mid morning, then more persistant rain from lunchtime accompanied by extensive hill fog all blown along on a fresh to strong south to south westerly wind. Visibility moderate to poor at first then very poor in hill fog.
Log: 3 very wet and miserable lowflyers
Summary: A complete write off

Out of all the Eagles from Lakenheath I only require 132 and 133, though as much as I admire your pictures I hate you too
Joking aside, great shots
