First flight of BS055, we were hoping for the Nimrod 014 from Woodford to make it a double but it went straight to Norwich for painting. Also local kite IPA6 in some fine weather. thanks to Mickey and the usual crew for great banter, and Billy Fury 'it'll never happen' for the optimism!
Thanks for looking Bryan

Crazy question, does the interior of a new jet smell the same as a new car? Cracking shots I would be well pleased to catch something like that

Nice Photo's, i don't know about the smell of fighter jets but new Airliners smell like new cars in the Flt Deck.

St John, the answer to your question, i think the colours are an old sqd marking (302?) and represent the colours of the UK. There is also a blue sheild showing the red rose of Lancashire and a lion. The markings first appeared on the 2 seater DA4 and a simular scheme later appeared in red, green and white on DA7 which was an Italian test frame. If any of the above is wrong im certain someone will put me right....enter Franky from stage left? Bryan
