Not sure whether this was an EGOS movement or just a fly-by but an Andover overflew my abode at 1510 this afternoon heading about 345 or so. The SBS-1 suggested this might have been Qinetiq's C1 (XS606), who was at 1,800 ft at the time and wearing a Shawbury squawk. Lovely sound and a rare bird in these parts.

It routed the Shawbury MATZ from the South East to North West, called up just SE of Bridgnorth and was routing into the North Wales area and back to Boscombe routing further south. Callsign was 'Gauntlet53'

Many years going up to the Loop and i have never seen it, but sat at home over looking the berwyn mountains and i see it first thought was a herc for a moment. Sorry for the poor pic it was a little to far away, she ended up heading over Llyn Brenig and headed back south.
