A Flurry of F3's noted today. but only on the ground only being move around unfortunately.
ZE785 HS Anniversary mks. into Has 7. (from Has 19).
ZE907 DA to Has 8 --(from Has 18.)
ZG731 41 sqn mks to RTP. parked in 1st bay on right at south end #-- (from Has18)
# next to ZE288 HA.
ZE728 FZ, ZE810 GG, ZE793 FY, ZE963 YT..these four disappeared behind Hanger 2 (paint shop).
Later ZE810 GG was seen inside Hanger 1(UAS)-- so maybe all four are in there. perhaps readying
for F & F this Saturday.If that is so then 1 from each of 25-43-56-111 squadrons.(by there marks)
Vortex 227 Puma i1147--1302.
G-BAEO Cessna 172 m overhead low circling 1305 +.
Myself departed-heard-returned for }--
Ninja 1, accompanied by Ninja 2, called a PAN x 3 at 1658. reported multiple bird strike.
Ninja 1 ZD438 50 GR9 landed okay soon after--noted at 1715 on ASP.
Ninja 2 overshoot and depart Rtb.
After inspection of the a/c the pilot walked towards 100 sqn office and the
base CO drove up to meet him--nice chap.

Blimey that Ninja 1 must be a jinx. It's not that long ago he had an emergency that I reported on with a bird strike that knocked out his engine over Spadeadam landing at Newcastle in a bit of a panic.

Fazer (29sqdn) was jinxed last year, that callsign had no end of problems, birdstrikes, nose wheel steering, gear not coming down got quite amusing to listen to, dont think pilots were too amused lol

That is my destination too so I shall miss Leeming again.
First indication of Leemings do was Sept 19 th. but then things changed.
