Well after seeing what the flooding was like in the morning I was shocked, so I thought I would go round in the afternoon with my camera. When I got to the river I found out that it was going to turn high tide at 1200. It got so much worse, not many house were flooded thankfully but alot of damage took place. Because I am short of time I'll only put a few pics up but there are 26 if you go onto my flickr link at the bottom of the page, you will also see 1024x versions.
The guy getting into the car was a holiday maker and left his car next to the pond before high tide and returned to, oh..
That'll be right..
Helped my creative side be unleashed..
Haha, nothing to worry about then..
True dedication..

freaky how it's the same weekend that the North East England got hit last year. An ex-colleague of mine died in the Morpeth floods last year, he contracted wiels disease after helping neighbours, so be careful playing in the flood water. On a slightly lighter note, I hope that isn't one of Speyside's finest malts being washed away down the "burn"

I'm sure Macc won't mind me adding a couple. These portray a a near disaster at Glenmoray distillery on the edge of Elgin, along with a river-side house (a former mill) flooded half way up its ground floor. The distillery was the source of Macc's luckily empty whisky cask. In the first pic, the river is around 10-15' above its normal level.

That's because the SNP rule Scotland and they won't allow B & Q to sell them.
