So,in the first shot is that on a taxi way or at the threshold as there's buildings in the u/s if it is and normally the fire station run up leads directly on to the runway too.

The hawk is at the start of the runway prior to a run up and down along the length and back again for take off from the same position. The taxiway runs from the fire tender around the back of the bucc to the runway threashold. There are hangers behind the fire tender where the static shot was taken.
