can't remember the year but do remember sitting in the field on arrivals day under the approach.

Its either 1990 for the TVS Battle of Britain airshow or 1992 for the Air Tournament International.
Think Fairford was having its runway relaid/repaired?
Wasn't the next IAT held at Cottesmore?
