Aviation Tour Groups and posting of photographs

It has come to our attention that one particular Aviation Tour group's members are under instructions not to post any pictures on FighterControl from their organised trips, and that FighterControl has agreed to the ban.

The following is part of an email being sent out to members of one particular tour group:

Quote :: We have now also made a decision that anything from our 2009 visits/trips (photos./logs/reports etc.) CANNOT be used on the FC forum/site (**** has already agreed this with Lee James [FC webmaster] this year) but again, I will advise in the final visit instruction, sent just before the visit takes place

Fighter Control (including the webmaster) have NO agreements with ANY aviation tour groups, and would certainly NOT discourage FC members from sharing their personal trip reports/logs or photographs, to which they and only they have the image rights to. (Unless of course a legal binding agreement had been signed prior to the photographs being taken by the tour operators.)

I hope this clarifies Fighter Control's position on this matter.
