Noted today during weather that can only be described as {censored} were the following :-

XW219 Puma,XX231 Hawk,ZF171 Tucano,G-BYVO and G-BYUN Tutors, "454537"(G-BFDL) Cub.

Flying Display :-

ZJ916/QO-U Typhoon

Red Arrows :-
XX266,292,306,179,264,233,237,294,308 and 227 as the spare.

Tornado GR4's(airfield attack) :-

ZD842/105,ZA458/024,ZD848/109,ZE116/116 and ZA549/-(I left during this so maybe someone else can add what happened next ! )

Just glad to be home and I'm starting to dry-out now.

EDIT:-didn't realise that "Autumnal" was a swear word !

After you left Sea King HAR.3A XZ594/J flew it's demo. The Puma departed after the show about half 2 and the reds about 3. The weather was so nice after the demo's finished.. ahaa.

Cheers Macc,I can't believe there was only 1 hangar open,big huge nightmare when the monsoon started !

Tell me about it, was as much a struggle to get out when it stopped. I still had a good time, glad i stayed till later, got some nice statics.

Hands up who was soaked?

Seems Lossie was at the back of the queue for attendees in comparison to other F&F days. Where were the RAF displays one usually finds in the hangers. I'm afraid I thought it was poor in comparison to previous years.

Superb display from the Typhoon made up for the lack of others.
