Help appreciated Sam West of the tower, there are four spaces. KC130 is parked in the furthest west and you can get a nice view from the bridal path running around the south of the perimiter...will get a shot up in a sec...

Help appreciated Sam The Do Engine Runs anywhere, there is no specific Parking Bay for Engine runs :)

.mic These 4 Spaces Are not the Engine Running bays, This area is called TFD, They use it For Armed Aircraft.
..Infact they cant do Engine runs on here as the conrete/asphalt is in such bad condition, it would get ripped up. This is same reason you dont see Jets parked on TFD, too much loose asphalt.

Thanks for the info Liam....but there are big signs on that stretch of bridleway cautioning users that engine runs may be in progress and noises up to 100Db might be experienced :P

Yeah...those signs are for the engine rigs that are between the 2 hangers - i think they are both Dowty aerospace hangars?
So to clarify the QB USMC C130 is still in as of now? I have only just got home after being stranded on the motorway all night....

batman is right... Jsut down from the TFD area is the Engine Test Bed, so that is probably what the Signs are reffering to
