Hello all,my first post on this site. Can anybody confirm the identity of the following a/c at Leuchars today please. Chinook 1043-1134hrs, An-30 Russian Open Skies,(possibly RA-26226,Quoted as the possible i/d of the aircraft at Brize yesterday). The only other visitor seen up until 1400hrs was a VC-10 (o/s?). Cheers Tony.

Chinook was ZH776 "Vortex 495". VC-10 should be XV102/T "Tartan 31".
Many thanks to Scotavnet. Welcome Tony.

The Antonov was indeed the Open Skies machine, multiple websites and mailing lists are confirming.
