Hi all,
trawling through the internet i noticed these 2 harriers seem to be preserved at cottesmore with their serials swapped. My question is - does anyone know why they were painted up with each others serial? ie: ZH800 is painted as ZH801 and vice versa (confusing, i know ),

captain scarlet,
ZH801 or ZH800 went on display at the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich for a while in 2006, and if I recall (excusing the old grey matter,as I'm not at home) correctly it was to represent the sqn that had reformed??

The story goes ZH800 has never flown with 800NAS and ZH801 had never flown with 801NAS hence the serial swap. Cheers, Andy
