hms endurance was the one thankyou. my dad went on a boat trip round portsmouth last weekend and they told him about it but he couldnt remember the name of the ship. thanks for your help guys.

Changing the subject slightly..if anyone goes to Plymouth,go on the boat trip round the Naval Dockyard,brilliant,especially if theres visiting warships with helicopters on flight-deck.
