Just wanted to say what a fantastic day I had today at Coningsby!
I got a lens off Ebay at 8am and thought I'd drive to Coningsby to test it out. Very basic old lens but I am pleased with soime of the (1700) photos I took lol!
It was so good to see the Lancaster out and flying for a couple of hours? Maybe more. So many Typhoons, a Harrier, Tornado...it was fantastic! I stayed until 7pm and got home just after 9pm.
When I work out exactly how to post photos here I will put some up. Nice to see friendly faces and chat to a number of people too. If anyone was at crashgate 1 I was the one on top of my Pug Partner lol! Hope to make it more of a regular thing, money and time permitting.
A gentleman was telling me about a 'Falklands Flag' Typhoon but I didn't quite get all of it as it was noisy lol! Does anyone know the story behind it? I didn't realise just how many Typhoons were based there, they are really impressive!
Again, a great day, I thought actually better than an airshow I went to once lol!

Yeah, loved it...trying to convince my wife to move there lol!!! Any jobs going anyone??? Even with bad weather, worth hanging around to see F-15's Some time ago when I got my F-65 film camera, I took some shots at Waddington, Harrier's and Tornado's and they were some of my favourite shots...camera got a soaking, but the spray etc. looked pretty good!
