Well the weather was too good not to -
The view from Frankley Beeches. That's Frankley Reservoir in the foreground with the City Centre visible on the horizon. I'll add a couple more later, this is edited on a lap-top - which is hard! Steve

Steve.
Thanks for reminding me what a stunning view that part of Frankley is. Shame at what exists directly behind you..
When I first saw the post, I assumed that you had took a pic of a Wokka passing over.
You'll have to go up to the Lickeys and Waseleys and don't forget the legendary villages of Cofton Hacket & Bell End

Technically yes, Shocking isn't it. But in reality it is the no-mans land between the West Midlands and Hereford & Worcester boundries Because when it snows, no one comes out and clears the snow or grits the roads out there. I got married in the church which is to the left of the picture in December 2004, and in December 2003 I had to walk back from where I was working in Dudley through those fields because the WM roads became grid locked because of a few inches of snow.

Yes it is Birmingham. Just to prove it -
Birmingham Uni clock tower on the far right,
And looking to the South, former MG/Rover plant in the foreground (now half the size it was) and water tower for the now defunct Hollymoor Mental Asylum on the far left -
