Was I seeing things or did I just see a herc going in with a tail code G-988?

Not inconceivable, it's the Herc Marshalls took down to Fairford for RIAT from the RNLAF.

Yup, also saw a C-130H curving over the top of us onto a MLD approach. Radio silence though, certainly wasnt an MC-130 Wink
