It took off from Lyneham (I saw it climb out) and was due to display at Whitehaven in Cumbria, then returning to Brize Norton via Blackpool. I guess Scunthorpe was just a bonus, not exactly on the direct route, is it?!?!

A chap at work who's a member of the Vulcan to the sky club paid a donation for it to fly over his village on the return journey from Whitehaven. I think he lives at Burton upon Stather which will explain the Scunthorpe route. Not sure how much he paid.
Cheers Paul.
