Hi, Me and my old man are of to cosford tomorrow. How often do they have aircraft flying there we have been loads of times over the years and i have never acctually seen any aircraft in the sky! (only the air ambulance).

You may get to see the odd Grob Vigilant or Viking gliders or maybe a Grob Tutor flying UAS or AEF cadets. August is a busy time for air cadet camps so you may get lucky, Mike

There are no Vikings at Cosford but 633 VGS operates five Vigilants, normally active at weekends and for occasional week-day periods during the school holidays. The Wrekin Gliding Club also operates at weekends. The Cosford Flying Club has three Warriors. A Christen Eagle (G-EGIL) and a Baby Lakes (G-BWMO) are also locally based. UBAS and 8 AEF share five Grob Tutors.

hi, we went yesterday and had a great day. it was really busy but the weather was bad and there was nothing out flying, or manuvering (sp) outside. will post some pics later.
