James Cracknell & Rebecca Romero are taking part in a phenomenal none stop mixed tandem cycle
race from Lands Ends to John O Groats they started at 4.0am on Monday 3rd, August,09 and at
06.45am today Tuesday had reached Penrith. The record is 2 days 3 hours 19 minutes and 23 seconds. at the moment they are well within the time target. to follow their progress go to
www.rideacrossbritain.com and ollow the instructions on twitter. Edit Rebecca had to give up the
attempt this morning with trouble with her knees.

I followed the (now removed) link to this thinking it was going to be something interesting, I was sadly disappointed. Why on earth did this need a link from the Aviation news section and two posts here - baffled
