Hi Everyone I am a 'Newbee' to this site & am impressed. The standard of photography is impressive. I hope to visit Coningsby for 2 days next week. Are there any better days than others to be there or is it Pot Luck?? Does anyone know a B&B in the area that is inexpensive & gives a good breakfast? Same with an evening meal? Regards Bill Lewis - Essex

I don't know why but I find Tuesday/Wednesday to be the best. Give Friday a miss as flying normally ceases at lunch time. The Bluebell in nearby Tatteshall Thorpe offers great cusine and beers (Highly reccommend the Lincolnshire Ham and Eggs and a pint of Dambuster!!!) Along with loads of 617 sqdrn memorabilia I am not sure whether they do accomodation but there are a number of static caravans to the rear, if I can find their telephone number I shall PM it to you (No I have no connection to them they just always make us feel welcome when we visit)
Hopefully I shall be over there on the 26th August.

you could try The Leagate Hotel at Coningsby, Penny Farthing Pub Timberland or Clifton House B/B Timberland, Timberland is about 9 miles from Coningsby, know people who have stayed at all 3 & were happy
