There are many Websites that are worth checking out, www.warehouseexpress.com is worth a look. But one thing I can deffinately reccomend is going to somewhere like Jessops or London Camera exchange (branches all over the UK) and holding and trying the different brands, everybody is different and prefers things a certain way, so it's worth finding out what you like before you buy. You don't have to purchase from either of these places, it's just to get an idea of what you'd be comfortable with before you part with your hard earned cash!

I will concur with what Stu has said, its best to actually hold one to see what suits you. What sort of budget do you have? And would you only really be using it for aircraft/airshows?
Oh, and welcome to FC

I agree with the right reverand, don't go like a bull out of the gate take a little time to find out what you want and select a camera that is comfortable and will meet you're needs. Especially read reviews on the camera's to find out the pro's and cons as well as price ranges. If you are New to DSLR you might want to look at ebay for 2nd hand Canon 400d with a kit lens to start, then use this to get used to the functions and gather lenses when you feel the need to upgrade.

I agree with all of the above on shipping around etc., but would personally recommend Amazon.co.uk if you're buying new as their prices are very competitive.

Hi there I have always gone to jessups, mainly because they will price match with warehouse express, but then knock money of filters, batteries, and memory cards, which when you start to look at the money you save then it is just as cheap as alot of other web sites.
Also if there problem you can go and drag some one across the counter and have a quiet chat with them which is better than sending of emails or trying phone them.

Reaper2595 Try not to degenerate into the dreaded "text-speak". Thankyou.
