Morning all,
The matchsticks are firmly in place to keep the eyes open! I have to say I had a cracking day at RIAT yesterday, the company made it worthwhile alone, Cheers Pete, Jason, Mark, Paul and of course Lee, and it was good to meet Andyxh558 too.
These are just the fast jets from the day, I was worried I'd cocked up nearly all my flying shots, I needn't have been... Memo to self, "never trust the images shown on the back of the camera too much..."

Good to see you yesterday.
I must say, all though participating aircraft was less this year, I must admit that this year the RIAT Vass crews did very well in parking up the aircraft so it was better for photography. Ok the 17-85 lens made it easier.
The light was challenging for us both yesterday, but I think that your new Nikon is excellent.
It has cetainly made my Canon 20D the humble all rounder look like a disposable camera.
This was the first time ever, since attending RIAT, that I managed to photograph the entire Static display.

I really enjoyed myself at RIAT, the aircraft were great but the company was better
