I have just returned from a very enjoyable day at the first of Lowestoft's two day seafront Air Festival . Good weather and very good value for a suggested donation of only £2 it beats most other air displays. It also has a very good selection of aircraft. Hear is a small selection of pictures.

I have to agree that Lowestoft really was a cracking day out. Certainly a very good display line up!
Did you get caught by the thunderstorm that appeared 5 mins after the Reds had closed the show? What a way to end a brilliant day out, I got soaked through  .

Great shots and nice to also see blue sky! saw most of the aircraft arriving from my office window, so off to Lowestoft this morning to see the show etc. Yes, have packed an umbrella! Reds look as good as always, nice angles!

great shots rob and i think lowestoft is getting to be one of the best seaside shows in the country.Great airshow and good mix of aircraft the nighthawk should be there today thanks for posting.
