Saw one of the U2's flying over clanfield this morning. Very close to Brize Norton. Was not sure where he was heading to, but that has now been cleared up.
Thank you. Raoul.

Can we expect a wave coming the other way flying home as these guys fly out?

As Graham says, normally early the next morning.

The first one was hangared as soon as it landed (pilot taxiied it in), when I left just after the second arrived both hangar doors were open so I assume they were taxiing those directly in too.

I've seen a log on Touchdown news of a gentleman that went down at 11:30 & saw all three of them parked up outside the Hangars, plus the fact Ive just heard that theres rumors of a tea time departure. Is it possible that they are doing a quick turn & that you saw them being put in & the other person saw them after they were pulled out again?

The only way they'll be departing today is if they've flow spare crews in, it's very unlikely that the same crew will fly again in under 12 hours.
It's possible they pulled the first one out again so they could fit them in propperly (they have to over lap the wings to fit two in one hangar).
Can't say for sure though. Mike
