Hi all

On th way to Fairford this morning, saw a DC8 depart Lyneham at 0730, it had orange engines and was turning to head east , and also at 2.30 this afternoon another one was in the overhead at Fairford, not sure if he had departed Lyneham or was inbound? any ideas on serials/regs?

Many thanks

Gareth

The yellow engined one is 9g-RAC by Airlift international.

the other one was probably Air Chater expresses 9g-AXB, as i seen that in the yesterday morning at work. 9g-AXA jsut had a CAA inspection, the inspectores told me it maybe grounded for bit. corrosion. but no final descision been made as far as we know.

Thanks very much Liam, most helpful. The yellow engined one looked great climbing steeply into the morning sky and turning right over the car as we stopped at the services.

Thanks again

Cheers

Gareth
