Apart from The Airshow in September is there much likely to be happening at Leuchars over the next few months? Just wondering wether to make a trip up do a bit of Spotting........?

there are rumours that Leuchars may host more excercises whilst it only has 1 active squadron.re. this a Pave Hawk was recently there on a recce.

I am going up to St Andrews on 25th July for a week on holiday .
Will be at the end of r/way for a bit of spotting/photography.
Now there is only 111 left operating hope to see some action.
Some visitors would be good. Smile

Does the new fence make it much harder to get a descent view across the airfield?

the new fence is nothing short of a bugger its in the way! but you can walk up on top of the hill on the opposite side there you can clearly see over it,but sadly the days of standing for hours at that fence bursting for a pee are gone
