PostSubject: YOUR PIC'S just a few from waddington Empty2009-07-05, 17:33

Hi Six2

your shots are quite good, i would say that you 1st shot of the mud hen you flash fired, which caused the rest of the picture to be over exsposed, you can see the flash on the fence lighting it.

The red arrows on the ground i would say the same thing happened.

Your other flying shots are well exposed, and nothing wrong with them.

I dont know how long you have been taking aircraft pictures, but the best advice I would give you is the same as I gave my lad when he started taking pictures with my old canon 350d and that is practice, practice and practice I have been taking pictures for over 20 years and still dont get it right all of the time {well most of the time}.

The other tip I would give is {i dont no nikon to well as I am a canon man} but i would think the cameras have similar settings, set the camera to Aperture-Priority (Av) {thats whats called on the canon} this allows you to set the aperture and the camera will set the speed that it takes the picture at, I aim for 60th to 100th of second for static shots, and 320th to 500th of a second for flying etc. The best advice i can give is practice.

but as i say there isnt much wrong with your pictures.

hope this helps if I can help any more send me a pm or get in touch. I will be posting my waddo pic's in the next few days, here is a link to my kemble pic's anyv questions just ask.
