Undated 20p's

Ok we have couple of them, and last night people were selling them on ebay for 8k each.

Not too sure if we are going to do the same, or if we will keep hold as these are obviously highly desirable. Perhaps the new Penny Black of the collecting world.

Last nights news had this story about the undated 20p and said that the Royal Mint were offering to buy them back from anyone who had them for £50. Shock

Yesterday at dinner people were selling them for £200 each.

5pm Tea time they were on at £500 each.

By 6pm when the main news was on there were peaking £1000 each.

By 10pm the first one was sold at over £5k.

I have one , but I know I had at least another last week, as I pointed out to my Mrs that it had no date on it!! i don't know whether to laugh or cry !!

Don't forget to regsiter online if you want to claim your £50 from The Royal Mint.They are only accepting 10'000 registrations! If you don't register you cannot claim.

I think it a better idea to stick with it and get a £5000 nest egg on retirement than get £50 now !!

There are also a lot of chancers on Ebay selling bog standard 20p's but wording it carefully to make it seem like they are the undated ones.
I saw a normal 2008 issue dated 20p sell for over £200 this afternoon, all because the seller worded the listing carefully to make it seem like it was undated and only showed a photo of the Tails side which on these isnt dated anyway. The date should be on the head side

I had a few of them last month, thought it was strange with out a date but thought it was part of a new design ! Do'h, I am very carefully checking my change from now !!! Sad
