The FA-18's are at Zaragosa, Torrejon and also at Gando (Gran Canaria). Torrejon is pretty easy to visit as within spitting distance of Madrid/Barajas Airport. Get yourself a cheap flight over and do it. You can also visit Getafe, Cuatro Vientos and Colmar Viejo which are all around the Madrid 'ring road' and do-able over a couple of days.

In regards to Gando, we went on holiday to Gran Canaria last year, on arrival at Gando I was able to read off 6 x F-18 and 2 x Casa 212 plus a single Casa 295. A very easy place to spot, there are also some civil wrecks scattered around the airfield.

All depends upon your ability to handle a week or so here, I wont be going back but at least I saw the Hornets!! Spanish Navy Rota 294955
