Do my eyes decieve me or have I just witnessed 2 Overshoots at Edinburgh by a new Nimrod MRA.4? A short time ago just switched the scanner on and they were talking to an AVRO 04 so went to back window and hey presto here was an MRA.4 doing 2 Low Approach and Go Arounds - must say it is rather quiet compared to Auld Smokey MR.2s are the RAF going for the Carbon Footprint friendly Aircraft these days?

In the mean time as well as the Nimrod NG (as I call it being a wee bit of a Star Trek fan) I also spotted 2 RAF Chinooks (calling up PEGUSUS) going North direct Leuchars as well as an RAF EH-101 Merlin heading East before heading North possibly scenic route before heading to LEU and it was calling up VORTEX 394.

How interesting these movements are for a Friday PM.
