All,

The BBMF PRO has requested that this be placed on the internet:

From Monday 29 June to Friday 3 Jul 2009, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight hangar will be the setting for a unique collection of art work by one of country’s best-known artists, David Shepherd, CBE, FRSA, FRGS.

This exhibition gives the rare opportunity for visitors to view many paintings from his private collection, which have hardly ever been seen before in public, and a number of paintings David did for the RAF which, again, have never before been on public view.

The tours will be running on the following dates and times;

Monday 29 June – 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Tuesday 30 June – 10am, 11am, 12am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Wednesday 1 July – 10am.11am.12am.1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Thursday 2 July – 10am, 11am, 12am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Friday 3 July – 10am, 11am, 12am, 1pm, 2pm

Tickets for this prestigious event cost - £10.00, concessions, OAPs and children under 16 - £8.00

Tickets can be purchased on the day at BBMF or pre-booked by telephone. Contact Yvonne Masters on 07917 595075

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EXHIBITION WILL BE GENERAOUSLY DONATAED TO THE BOMBER COMMAND MEMORIAL APPEAL

Please note that standard hangar tours will not be available during the week of the exhibition.

Regards
