They'll be dark, heavy to hold, difficult to focus and in simple terms a waste of money... A 12x bino that will be worth using is likely to set you back a fair whack... And then if you're going to want anything more than 15x then you're better off with a spotting scope and zoom eyepiece. Optics is one market where you really do get what you pay for, and £58 isn't a lot by any means, especially for daft specifications of 12-60x magnification. If it was 7-12x then they may be worth considering for that price.

True enough Dave, however....I bought a £20 pair of Bino's from a shop near Windermere, they are the best bino's ive ever had - no idea of the name, but they have a blue tint, making everything look cooler, and razor sharp optics. Maybe I just struck lucky!
