External Hard Drive

Location : Wellingborough, Northants

Hey all,

I am looking to get an external hard drive that i can back-up my photos onto. Just wondered if anyone could recommend a good one, doesn't have to have an enormous amount of space.

Any help would be much appreciated

Just bought one on Friday for going to University. Got a Seagate 1 Terabyte drive from PC world for £87. Seems to work fine, very fast, and says it can store 320,000 photos. Not bad!

Western Digital Passport 320gb is what I have.

Dirt cheap, loads of storage, lightweight and easy to pack away with your laptop, or just put in your pocket if you want to take it with you to show people your pics.

Amazon was the cheapest I found, free delivery too.

I have a packard bell computer....so bought a parkard bell 500gb external hard drive.
Works fine.

I can highly reccommend Freecom hard drives, especially their Toughdrive range which two friends have used on tours in Afghanistan recently. I have a 250Mb Freecom drive and love it.

I'd go along with Rob's recommendation, I really like the quality of the Freecoms. Don't get the plastic-bodied one though.
