Could somebody guide me regarding this topic as I have been told so many different things. Does placing a copyright symbol on my shots prevent, in law, anybody else using my shots for whatever reason without my express permission?. If it does not, is there a way to ensure that my images remain solely my property?. I know it is a tough one but any help would be appreciated. APC

APC In short, the answer is no, placing a copyright symbol does not explicitly protect your image, the copyright is yours as the originator of the picture , and that is set in law already, the images are your property unless you transfer those rights.
