LMP and myself are in the caravan at Cottesmore this weekend. (Not the red and white one lol) At noon ish, we could see a Typhoon doing what appeared to be a full display over Wittering. As we don't have a scanner, etc, we don't know the purpose of this as it wasn't families day. Anyone shed any light?
P.s., if you have a tent or a caravan, this has to be the ultimate aircraft enthusiasts site...approx 400 yards from Cottesmore main runway. We store the van at the base (as LMP has pals if you know what I mean), and pitch it here. If you want details, then PM me. I promise you, its fab!

was it a typhoon as there was a tornado rolling around over here early afternoon.

Heard the noise but didn't see anything. We assumed that it was an air spare for the QBF just mooching about on his way home to Coningsby.
