they were 3 french alpha jets.FAF 6440 was E160 FAF 6441 was E38 FAF 6442 is unknown as only did a high approach. these were originally vectored into lakenheath until on the approach LN realised they wanted to go into mildenhall.(i think the americans had trouble with the french accents)
