Forum colour scheme

Is anyone else having problems with the icons down the left hand side of the various forums? I have less than perfect colour perception and find these quite difficult to distinguish, is it possible that they might be changed to different colours to aid those with less than perfect colour vision?

I assume you mean the plane colour in the middle? - What colour does one suggest?

The buttons are the same colour as the rest of the forum...

Firstly, I'm not altogether sure what colours they are at present, but it's all a matter of perception. I find that the F-22 silhouette in the "Newposts" icon doesn't stand out very well, neither it or the "Nopost" icon are sufficiently unique to be easily noticeable.

- Newpost in this combination stands out well for me, but maybe not for others.

- Nopost should stand out well in this combination for everyone.

Please understand that I'm not trying to be difficult, just suggesting that the present colours aren't very user-friendly for some users. Each person having a lower degree of colour perception than normal (green/white are affected in my case) will see certain colour combinations differently to those with normal colour vision.

Noted - see my reply.

For the others, all I'm asking for is for one or other of the icons to be more distinct both in the F-22 icons and the ones for individual topics, to aid old duffers like me who can't distinguish colours easily.

Put simply, can we have a more obvious colour difference please?

Rob's made me aware of the problem and the team will be looking into it and sorting it ASAP.
