Has this station been just aquired from the Army? I pass it most days, and it has a mobile radar set up, next to trent valley gliding club. What is this for and which squadrons are based there?. I have never seen any aircraft or helicopters on the base.
Is this a training site for low level aircraft attacks, coming from the valley beyond the the perimiter? Hope someone can shed some light on this.
