Captain Sim C130J

Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the C130 J model on Captain Sim's C130, works with Flt Sim 2004 or does the J model just work with Flt Sim X?

Depends on which version you have Gareth.

If it's the J on its own or as part of the 'Extra Pack' then it's for FS9 and I don't know if it will work in FSX.

If it's as part of the 'Extra Pack 1' then it's for FSX and I doubt will be backwards compatible.

I have the original C130 add on for Flt Sim 04, just wondering if the J model on the upto date version will work for with FS04.

These ones will be treated as addons to the original CS C130 version...

These will only work with FSX

If it's for FS9 you want, make sure you have the original CS C130 pack, apparently despite many promises, lots of people who have the Just Flight C130 which allegedly works with these addons have been disappointed. (or vice versa, the JF 'J' addon will not work with the CS C130 pack).

Thanks for the info davem, i like to keep flt sim as realistic as possible so was looking for the J model add on when the K model retires, not for a couple of years though. A good add on to have though.

It works but theres no landing gear and you have to replace the air file everytime you want to fly

Thanks Davem, why do they have to change the Flight Sim so often lol, oh well, will wait until Flt Sim X comes down in price and get that too, if my PC is fast enough to run both Flt Sims as i need my Tornado add on for Flt Sim 04, damn im addicted lol. Big Grin
