Those with an Acer Desktop or Acer Laptop do not install the latest download of AVG (Free) The Acer E-Lock driver causes a conflict with AVG. So when the latest download is installed. All is well. However, when you next use your system you will get the Blue Screen of death. Therefore you need to reboot your system into Safe Mode - Keep tapping F8 key and choose Safe Mode. Those with Acer Systems that did not come with recovery disks, copy all your files on to the D: drive. Those with recovery disks, copy your files on to an external HDD or Flash drive. Then reinstall the system. - Those with the recovery CD's follow the instructions to re install your system - Those without the recovery CD's you need to hold down ALT and keep tapping the F10 key to restore your system back to factory setting. If it asks for a password to restore to factory settings the password is the first name of the main user. You will then have to find an alternative free anti virus. PCtools Anti Virus Comodo - Firewall & Anti Virus (Install if you don't have an existing firewall - or remove your current firewall to install comodo) Hope this helps a few of you.
