You have probably answered this before but can I ask again. Apart from the indoor displays, photos, ect. what actual aircraft can been seen (and photographed), I am thinking about your Meteor and others, and the Jaguars / Sea Harrier which I understand are storaged on another part of the airfield. Also any details of opening times and admission price ?

Sure, entarnce is 4 pound, 2 pound concession and kids free, aeroplane wise is hit and miss im afraid, if staff numbers allow a visit across the base then the Jags can be seen with the Sea Harrier and hopefully a Hangar visit with our Meteor in, Caroline Grace's Spitfire is sometimes in the circuit and on Sunday there maybe an ex mil plane amongst the puddle jumpers, as ive said it is hit and miss but as most members are fellow enthusiats they will do all they can to help on these meagre rations!

The museum opens at 1000-1600.

As "Urkles" (or "FF" as us staff call him :) ) said, we are happy to take visitors over to our hanger to view the Meteor and items of interest but this all depends on how busy we are at the time.

We are currently planning our Special open day at Bentwaters on Sunday June 14th.This open day will hopefully include a number of flying displays along with many other attractions. Please check out our web site at www.bcwm.org.uk for updates & full information on this great family day out.

Regards,

Allan Dewhurst.
