Just querying it as i personally didn't see them go out but just tracked them on scanner....by the time they returned it was pitch dark and raining so just lots of lights visible!. Was however led to believe they were VH-3s,if not nice one!,will have to spend some time at runways end, cheers

The presidential choppers are 11 x VH-3D's and 8 x VH-60N's, as they came over in the C17's we will just have to waite for an eyeball on them to see what they are :|

Quite right Aileron !,and where's this place called "Stanstead". This is a forum that the whole world can look at,the least we can do is to spell airfield names.

My take on the flight that the 4x helos done out of NHT yesterday, is that i suspect that the departure timings they used would be more or less the timings they will use on the day Obama arrives. As the VH-60s arrived yesterday am,there was no real reason to do a famil flight to STN until today, unless they are practising "thier schedule". Not sure if they will repeat the flight profile today, with similar timings,if they do,it all points to an early evening arrival at STN for Obama......Just my take on that's all.

When did the American Helicopters actually leave? And did they go to Strasbourg with The Obama's or have they gone on ahead back to America? Or to wherever they were going next.
