Can't confirm it yet,but i think the VH-60s were airlifted out friday as several of my neighbours were enquiring as to what was the "the big grey jet" that flew low over our houses!. Showing them some C17 photos they were pretty certain that was the a/c they saw!

Saw these aswell not long after the C-17's dropped them off. Bit silly to park them right next to the A40 though for all to see. All four took off around 17:30 ish from memory under c/s Knighthawk formation and headed towards Stanstead.They may have been due to leave earlier but the weather was real bad had'nt seen rain like that in ages.
