Not the Best day for weather or traffic as the Cross wind closed the Airfield to Typhoons for a good 5 hours.

G-EIGG is a Jetstream 31 of Highland Airways,Inverness.They have the BAE contract for staff runs and the Warton-Coningsby run is (or was) a scheduled sevice(as are some others),they are all registered after names of 4-letter Scottish Islands.I know it's civvy-talk,but this is why they appear at Coningsby.
Eigg is an island to the west of Mallaig.

AC is 17 sqn,which will be on loan to 11 sqn,BTW.
