Typhoon high..just to the South of my work at Gunby today at 1-04pm and for a few minutes...manoeuvring with much verve..before departing towards Cby. Never got to see it as it entailed looking into the sun. ...

hi all typhoon 17 (i think its the 2009 display phoon) was thrown about all over the place when i visited cby i got a vid if him doing perf tkoff then disapearing. hi routine was high but we caught a glimps every now and then. i cant spell but hay ive got a new cam, and i can take great pics off the fence now. lol

I think its typhoon 44 this year. I was listening to the scanner on wednesday morning when the typhoon practised its display and it was definetly typhoon 44. I will double check next week when there are more practises. It was a cracking display though even though it was still high, around 1000ft i would say. Its almost a completly different display sequence compared to the last few years. James
