Looks like it's been a busy day at Waddo so far. Caught the Reds going in and out, Nimrod R1 coming in, a few Sentry's in and out and at least one Apache went in. Saw two other choppers going in around midday, what looked a bit like another Apache and a Squirrel. Can anyone confirm? Also saw something overshooting at about 14:10, too small to be any of the home based stuff, a Dominie maybe? Is the Squirrel there all week to taxi the Reds between Waddo and Scampton?
Thanks, Dean.

We saw the Squirrel come in yesterday am. It low hovered down to Delta, presumably had something to do with the Reds! :D was ZJ268 I believe (20/01/09)

Dean,
There were four Apaches that came in. The overshoot was a two-seat Harrier.

This information would be more useful if someone would post the serials of the visiting aircraft. Information from Waddington particularly has really gone down the pan since the demise of the "old" FC. :x :x Are there no Waddington locals on FC any more ?

Here's hoping for an improvement.

Phil,
I'm sure that you appreciate that not everyone is a number cruncher. I took a few snaps and have managed to blow up a few to get the serials of the four that I saw.

Would really appreciate more regular updates from the Waddo Area Community. I live North of Lincoln, in the Brigg area. Fighter Control used to be my way of deciding should I drive down. Driving down costs money and don't want to for 'nowt. Please help.
