And you've even got my Phantom on the screen in that last picture! Cracking build, it really is a fun model to do, and you've done it justice! As you said, the problem is finding somewhere to put it

Hi Can i offer some advice. And please do not think it is a dig.The Bone is very good indeed, but may i suggest you get a sharpened tooth pick and run aroung the cockpit frames.Believe me you will see the difference. Also a tip in future, dip your windows in clear floor shine first and allow to dry for a good while. Also on the jet exhausts,i would of used Alclad and buffed up.It really adds realism to the exhausts. I do hope i have helped. And as i said no dig was intended. JIM

That P-51 is rather nice Shaun!! Instead of Modelling Section Moderator, maybe you should call yourself a Modellator

That is nice Shaun, the staining looks very effective.
What to build next....something different maybe...stretch the boundaries maybe...what about an Eduard WWI kit, their 1/48 Fokker Dr.I's are good

Now that is different!
WWI or biplane modelling is quite interesting actually, lots of colourful marking options and the extra bonus fun of trying to add doubled rigging wires to Sopwith Camels

I will definately try one of the eduard ww1 kits, I will see what I can pick up at telford. As for the byplanes, ive got the 1/32 trumpeter swordfish to build so that will be an experience although I am looking forward to it. Cheers for the comments on my QF-86, much appreciated. If I need any byplane advice I know where to come.
